According to the Project, the main objective is to develop Bac Ninh Specialized High School, Bac Giang Specialized High School, and 18 key junior high schools to "Complete the national education system in an open, flexible, and interconnected manner across all levels of education," thereby creating a system of key educational institutions with high quality, meeting national standards, and possessing modern and synchronized facilities. Along with this, the project aims to develop schools that serve as model secondary schools in the province. Educational activities are geared towards developing students' competencies and qualities, leading the way in implementing innovative teaching and learning methods, science and technology activities, digital transformation, and innovation; thereby forming a creative educational ecosystem right within schools.

The plan also aims to maintain Bac Ninh's position in the top 10 nationwide in terms of national student excellence competition results; striving to have students participate in and win awards at regional and international Olympic competitions every year.

Regarding specific objectives, for key secondary schools, the province aims to consolidate and stably develop the 18 existing schools, while gradually increasing the enrollment scale of high-quality classes in key schools that have such classes. The goal is to ensure that each school has 12-20 classes, with no more than 40 students per class, attracting 95% of 5th-grade students who excel in their studies and training throughout the province to attend the school, aiming to eliminate the situation where students from regular classes attend key secondary schools.

During the 2026-2030 period, the aim is for over 90% of students to achieve good academic results; 20-30% of students to be able to read, understand, and solve some exercises in Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Informatics in English; 100% of students to achieve the required numerical competency level for their grade, with 20% exceeding that level. Annually, at least 70% of students graduating from key secondary schools will take the entrance exam to the province's specialized high schools, with at least 15% of students successfully entering specialized classes. The goal is to have students participate in and win prizes at national, regional, and international STEM innovation competitions and contests.

By 2031-2035, the percentage of students achieving good academic results will increase to over 95%; 30-40% of students will be able to read, understand, and solve some exercises in Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Informatics in English; 100% of students will achieve the required numerical competency level for their grade, with 30% exceeding that level. Annually, at least 80% of students graduating from key junior high schools will take the entrance exam to specialized high schools in the province, with at least 20% of students successfully entering specialized classes. Furthermore, students will participate in and win prizes at national, regional, and international STEM innovation competitions and contests annually.

For specialized high schools, investment will continue to improve their scale towards standardization and modernization, reaching national and regional standards; increasing their development scale each year to meet educational objectives. This includes further diversifying specialized classes, including foreign language classes such as English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and French… Simultaneously, adding specialized classes in STEM/STEAM.

The goal is to maintain a 100% university entrance exam pass rate, increase the number and quality of awards in the National High School Student Excellence Competition; and maintain and improve results in annual regional and international Olympiads.

Regarding infrastructure, in the period 2026-2030, the province plans to invest in building and upgrading many key junior high schools; equipping them with smart classrooms, foreign language rooms, laboratories, and ensuring each school has at least two STEM/STEAM rooms. Specialized high schools are also expanding their dormitories, adding modern equipment, and moving towards a smart school model…

With these synchronized solutions, the project is expected to create a strong shift in improving the quality of advanced education, contributing to building a high-quality workforce to meet the requirements of rapid and sustainable development of Bac Ninh in the new period./.
