(BNP) - The Provincial People's Committee has just signed and issued Plan on organizing propaganda, cultural and sports activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - 2025).

According to the Plan, many propaganda, cultural and sports activities will be held to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - 2025). The activities aims to affirm the stature, historical significance and contemporary value of the August Revolution in 1945 and the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam as a brilliant milestone in history, opening a new era for the Vietnamese people; honor the leadership role of the Communist Party of Vietnam as the decisive factor in all victories of the revolution; affirm national independence as a prerequisite for implementing socialism. Build socialism and defending the Vietnamese Fatherland are two strategic tasks.

Through activities, people will see the outstanding achievements after 80 years of building, protecting and developing the country in all fields: Politics, economy, culture, society, national defense and security; the role and development of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam); patriotic tradition, revolutionary heroism, the spirit of great national unity, international solidarity; national pride, the will to be self-reliant and self-reliant, etc.
Propaganda work is carried out in many diverse forms such as: through central and provincial press agencies, traditional education activities, visual propaganda (panels, posters, banners, flags, slogans, bulletin boards...), mobile propaganda and organizing exhibitions, exhibitions, film screenings to serve all classes of people in the province; propaganda on local mass media, websites/portals of agencies and units.
