(BNP) - On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - 2025), the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - 2025) and the People's Public Security Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - 2025), on the morning of August 16, at the central bridge point of Hoan Kiem Lake, Hanoi, Nhan Dan Newspaper and the Ministry of Public Security jointly organized the launching ceremony of the national walking program "Moving Forward with Vietnam". The program was organized simultaneously in 34 provinces and cities with 3,321 communes, wards and administrative zones nationwide.

In Bac Ninh province, the Provincial Public Security coordinated with the representative office of Nhan Dan Newspaper of Bac Ninh province to organize the activity "Moving forward with Vietnam" at the central venue of Bac Ninh province (provincial sports stadium) and 94 communes and wards across the province. At the main bridge of the province, more than 5,000 people participated in the program.
Attending the program at the Bac Ninh’s venue were Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan; Major General Bui Duy Hung, Director of the Provincial Public Security.
At the Provincial Sports Stadium, more than 5,000 people participate in the Program.

“Moving Forward with Vietnam” is an unprecedented community event of profound political and social significance, taking place in the context of the country entering a new stage of development along with the rearrangement of administrative units. With the message “1 billion steps into the new era”, the program is not only a sports activity responding to the campaign “All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho” and the movement “Healthy to build and protect the Fatherland”, but also a journey connecting millions of hearts, converging all generations and classes of people from urban to rural, mountainous, remote and isolated areas, together towards the goal of building a united, strong and sustainable Vietnam.

At the launching ceremony, Deputy Minister of Public Security Tran Quoc To affirmed: "Moving Forward with Vietnam" is not only a simple community physical activity, but also a collective action rich in political and social significance, expressing the determination of the entire nation to overcome difficulties together, maintain health, strengthen solidarity, and aim for sustainable development and strong integration in the new era.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Program at the Bac Ninh’s venue, Colonel Do Duc Trinh, Deputy Director of the Provincial Public Security, emphasized that with the spirit of "1 hour - 1 billion steps forward - for a healthy, united, progressive Vietnam", it clearly affirmed a renewed and united Vietnam, ready to enter a new era of development with new stature and momentum.
Immediately afterwards, the leaders of Bac Ninh province, along with a large number of officials and people, walked at the Provincial Sports Stadium, responding to the message "1 billion steps into the new era".
