(BNP) - On August 2, the Vietnam Young Physicians Association and the Department of Health jointly organized the launching ceremony of the program "Comprehensive healthcare access - For a healthier Vietnam by 2025", along with the implementation of the Smart Healthcare Project in Bac Ninh province for the period 2021-2030.

The “Comprehensive Healthcare Access” program is a joint initiative between the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Ministry of Health with an aim to improving the quality of healthcare for people through the application of technology and advanced medical solutions.

Bac Ninh province is implementing a smart health province/city program to increase grassroots health capacity, maximize health education, prevention, early detection, diagnosis, and treatment.
Speaking at the program, Prof. Dr. Tran Van Thuan, Deputy Minister of Health emphasized that the "Comprehensive Healthcare Access" Program and the launch of smart healthcare for the community are not only for medical examination, equipment donation or health consultation, but also affirm the strategic shift from treatment to health care, from passive to proactive, from discrete to integrated, smart and people-centered.
The Deputy Minister of Health also highly appreciated Bac Ninh province with its strategic vision and determination to act, which has systematically implemented the Smart Healthcare Project for the period 2021 – 2030.

During the launching ceremony, the Ministry of Health and the Understanding the Heart Fund jointly donated surgical support to 10 children with congenital heart disease in Bac Ninh province, contributing to give them the opportunity to recover their health, have healthy hearts, and a better future.
The Organizing Committee presented 10 gifts to families with preferential policies and difficult circumstances in the area and 10 gifts to students with difficult circumstances.

In addition, the Vietnam Young Physicians Association and FaCare International Medical Technology Joint Stock Company donated equipment to 100% of public medical facilities in the area, including management systems and medical equipment for end-to-end health management for patients.
Many response activities were carried out within the framework of the "Comprehensive Healthcare Access" Program, including medical examination, screening, and health consultation for 1,000 people in Tu Son and Phu Khe wards, as well as training for grassroots medical staff on the use of AI in examination, screening, and disease control.
Before that, leaders and members of the Youth Union offered flowers and incense at the Monument to the Martyrs of Tu Son Ward.

Also this morning, Prof. Dr. Tran Van Thuan, Deputy Minister of Health, and the delegation visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Ngan, born in 1920 in Vu Ninh Ward, Bac Ninh province. She had an only son, martyr Nguyen Ngoc Khue, who fought and died in the resistance war against the US to save the country./.
