(BNP) - On the afternoon of July 23, Samsung Electronic Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Yen Phong I Industrial Park) held a ceremony to receive the Third Class Labor Medal of Mr. Choi Joo Ho, former General Director of Samsung Vietnam (term 2018 - 2025).

Attending the ceremony were Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Gau; Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huong Giang; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Van Thinh; General Director of Samsung Vietnam Mr. Na Ki Hong.
At the ceremony, authorized by the President, Secretary Nguyen Van Gau and Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan awarded the Third Class Labor Medal to Mr. Choi Joo Ho, former General Director of Samsung Vietnam for the 2018-2025 term, for his outstanding achievements in work, contributing to the socio-economic development of Vietnam.

Mr. Choi Joo Ho expressed his honor and pride in receiving the President's Third Class Labor Medal. At the same time, he stated that during his time working in Vietnam, he was always met with camaraderie, trust, and deep support from the leaders of Vietnam in general and Bac Ninh province in particular.
He respectfully expressed his gratitude to the Central and local leaders who have always created favorable conditions for Samsung Vietnam over the years. At the same time, he affirmed that the Medal is not only a recognition for an individual, but also a noble gift from the Vietnamese State to the Samsung Vietnam collective, and a reward he will always treasure.

On behalf of the leaders of Bac Ninh province, Secretary Nguyen Van Gau congratulated Mr. Choi Joo Ho on receiving the Third Class Labor Medal. He affirmed that with his strategic guidance and orientation during his time working at Samsung Vietnam, Mr. Choi Joo Ho and the Group's leadership team have made many positive contributions to the Group's strong development as well as to the effective cooperation and common development of localities where Samsung has investment projects. The noble Labor Medal awarded by the President of Vietnam is the recognition of the Party and State of Vietnam for his efforts and contributions during his tenure in Vietnam.

The Secretary expressed his satisfaction with the successes that the Samsung Group has achieved over the last 15 years, beginning with the first facility in Yen Phong Industrial Park (Bac Ninh), and progressing to become Vietnam's largest FDI firm today. At the same time, he affirmed that Bac Ninh province always considers the Group as a strategic partner, a model of effective cooperation between local authorities and foreign-invested enterprises. Samsung is a testament to cooperation, attracting investment in high-tech production, modern, green, environmentally friendly technology, building an industrial ecosystem. Promoting the development of domestic enterprises associated with cooperation, connecting with FDI enterprises to participate deeply in the global value chain.
