(BNP) – The Ministry of Industry and Trade has issued Decision No. 2210/QD-BCT, establishing criteria and targets for prioritizing trade promotion activities under the National Trade Promotion Program. Accordingly, the priority criteria include: Quality reputation, Science - Technology, Innovation - Creativity, and digital transformation. The application of these criteria aims to identify products and services with high competitive potential - those that are outcomes of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation activities. This enables the focused allocation of resources to support their promotion in both domestic and international markets, thereby creating strong growth momentum for businesses.

The set of criteria not only serves as a tool for prioritizing typical products and services in the Ministry of Industry and Trade's trade promotion programs, but also as a measure to assist businesses in self-assessing their capacity, thereby orienting strategies to improve quality and innovate technology.  The use of the criteria will encourage enterprises to invest in long-term research and development (R&D), improve added value, and promote transparency and efficiency in distributing trade promotion resources in accordance with the Party's and State's development direction.
