(BNP) - In 2025, Bac Ninh province implemented many comprehensive solutions and achieved important results, creating a foundation to serve socio-economic development, digital transformation, and ensure national defense and security in the province.

Regarding infrastructure investment results, by the end of 2025, the entire province will have approximately 4,290 operational BTS stations. Of these, Viettel Bac Ninh manages and operates 2,038 stations; Bac Ninh Telecommunications 1,397 stations; and MobiFone 855 stations. The BTS station network is relatively evenly distributed, meeting the requirements for mobile communication coverage in residential areas, industrial zones, urban areas, and key areas.
Regarding 5G networks, the province has put into operation approximately 849 5G BTS stations, including 765 deployed by Viettel, 64 by Bac Ninh Telecommunications, and 20 by MobiFone; 5G coverage has reached over 92.12% of the province's population. In addition, the 4G network continues to be maintained and upgraded, with coverage reaching over 99% of the population; fiber optic infrastructure has been expanded to most villages, residential areas, and 100% of industrial zones in the province.
Along with infrastructure development, the telecommunications and information technology service market and scale continue to grow. Total revenue from telecommunications and information technology services in the province in 2025 is estimated at approximately VND 4,577.39 billion, an increase of 6.2% compared to 2024. The total number of mobile subscribers is expected to reach approximately 4.05 million; the number of new 5G subscribers in 2025 is estimated at 548,000, bringing the total number of 5G subscribers in the province to nearly 789,000. Fixed broadband internet subscribers are estimated at approximately 577,000, meeting the growing needs of people and businesses.
