(BNP) - In recent times, the Social Insurance (SI) of Bac Ninh province has achieved many positive results in management, revenue and expenditure, ensuring the rights of insurance participants.

By the end of July, the whole province had 28,429 units participating in Social Insurance, Unemployment Insurance (UI), and health insurance (HI). The number of people participating in compulsory social insurance reached 891,447 people, exceeding the plan by 0.84%, up more than 25,500 people compared to the previous month; voluntary social insurance reached 90,189 people, an increase of nearly 23% over the same period in 2024. The number of people participating in the UI reached 856,863 people, exceeding the plan by 0.98%; HI reached more than 3.25 million people, equivalent to 97.13% of the plan.
Total revenue in July reached VND 2,129 billion. Acumulated revenue in 7 months reached VND 15,205.95 billion (57.83% of the plan), up nearly 20% over the same period. Debts from social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance accounted for 3.47% of receivables, lower than the target assigned in the third quarter of 2025. During the month, the Provincial Social Insurance issued 4,483 new social insurance books, 1,885 health insurance cards; processed 951 monthly benefit applications, more than 2,100 one-time benefit applications and nearly 30,000 short-term benefits; paid pensions and allowances to 220,440 people with more than VND 906.7 billion, of which 96% were received via ATM accounts.
The sector signed health insurance medical examination and treatment contracts with 98 medical facilities, appraised and paid more than VND 401.9 billion for 611 thousand medical examinations and treatments; recovered and reduced spending more than VND 1.35 billion due to violations. 4 policy consultation conferences, 262 small group communication sessions, 42 news articles on provincial newspapers and radio and television, 2 social network livestreams attracting more than 16,400 views were organized. The application of information technology continued to be promoted, 98% of transaction records were electronic.
