Bac Ninh honors and rewards administrators, teachers, and students for their outstanding achievements in the 2025–2026 academic year

(BNP) – On the afternoon of May 18, at the Provincial Conference Center, the Department of Education and Training held a conference to honor and reward administrators, teachers, and students who achieved outstanding results in the 2025–2026 academic year.

Provincial leaders present the Emulation Flag of the Ministry of Education and Training to the Bac Ninh Department of Education and Training.

Attending the conference were Mr. Pham Hoang Son, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province; Mr. Le Xuan Loi, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of the province, along with leaders of local departments and agencies.

According to the Bac Ninh Department of Education and Training, the local education sector has continued to effectively implement its key tasks and achieve many positive outcomes. The school and classroom network has developed steadily across all areas, while facilities and teaching equipment have been continuously invested in and gradually upgraded to better meet the learning needs of the people.

The overall quality of education has improved markedly, especially in the discovery, selection, and nurturing of gifted students. Teaching, testing, and assessment activities have been carried out in a systematic and scientific manner, contributing to the enhancement of the province’s overall educational quality

At the National High School Excellent Student Selection Examination for the 2025–2026 academic year, Bac Ninh recorded 174 prize-winning students out of 237 participants, including 10 first prizes, 58 second prizes, 52 third prizes, and 54 consolation prizes. The province ranked 6th nationwide in the total number of prizes and 4th nationwide in the number of first prizes.

Following the examination, Bac Ninh province had 15 students selected to participate in regional and international Olympiads in Biology, Physics, and Mathematics, further affirming the province’s leading position in education.

Among them, two students were selected for the International Biology Olympiad, one student for the Asian Physics Olympiad, two students for the European Physics Olympiad, and three students for the Asia-Pacific Mathematics Olympiad.

In the provincial-level excellent student competition, 6,676 students from junior and senior high schools across the province took part. Many students achieved outstanding results in specialized, non-specialized, and general education programs.

Furthermore, at the National Science and Technology Research Competition, Bac Ninh had six projects participating and winning high awards, demonstrating the research capacity, creativity, and practical application skills of students in the province.

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Pham Hoang Son emphasized that Bac Ninh is a land rich in a tradition of valuing education, and education has always been identified as a key driving force for sustainable development.

He acknowledged, praised, and congratulated the achievements of the Education and Training sector in the past academic year. He also expressed his deep appreciation for teachers and educational administrators, who not only impart knowledge but also inspire students, nurture their character, and foster their aspirations and determination to excel.

The Chairman of the People’s Committee of Bac Ninh province requested the education sector to continue improving the overall quality of education, with a focus on identifying and nurturing talented students; accelerating digital transformation and the application of science and technology in management and teaching; and building a modern, humane, and internationally integrated educational environment.

He also expressed his hope that students in Bac Ninh would continue to foster their aspirations, spirit of self-learning, and determination to overcome challenges, thereby becoming a high-quality workforce contributing to the development of their hometown and the country.

On this occasion, the Bac Ninh Department of Education and Training received the Emulation Flag from the Ministry of Education and Training for its outstanding achievements in the emulation movement for innovation and creativity in the 2024-2025 school year.

The leaders of Bac Ninh province also awarded Certificates of Merit from the Minister of Education and Training to 120 students who won national prizes and groups of authors who won national-level science and technology research prizes; and awarded Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to 253 administrators, teachers, and students who achieved outstanding results in the work of nurturing gifted students in the 2015-2026 school year.

In addition, 15 units with outstanding achievements in nurturing gifted students in culture and scientific and technical research during the 2025-2026 school year received Certificates of Commendation from the Director of the Department of Education and Training.
