(BNP) – On May 31, the Bac Ninh Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Federation of Youth Associations organized the “Day of Support for Young Workers” in Nenh Ward, featuring cultural and sports activities for young workers and recognizing outstanding young workers and supportive landlords.
Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Provincial Youth Federation Ha Thai Son, along with other delegates, present gifts and certificates to outstanding young workers.
Speaking at the event, leaders of the Provincial Youth Union highlighted the growing role of young workers in Bac Ninh’s socio-economic development. In recent years, cultural activities, digital transformation initiatives, and volunteer programs have provided opportunities for young workers to develop their skills, contribute to their communities, and promote positive values.
Particularly, the “Friendly Landlord” model has helped create safe, stable, and supportive living environments for migrant workers. The recognition of exemplary landlords reflected appreciation for their meaningful contributions to improving workers’ living conditions and supporting the youth worker movement.
The event also honored 20 outstanding landlords and 50 exemplary young workers who have demonstrated dedication, creativity, resilience, and active participation in community activities.
Held over two days, May 30–31, the program included a youth workers’ arts festival featuring five teams from industrial parks and local communes and wards, as well as a sports tournament that attracted a large number of participants. These activities contributed to enriching the cultural and spiritual life of young workers while strengthening solidarity and exchange among them.
The event reaffirmed the commitment of the Youth Union and Youth Associations to supporting and caring for young workers, particularly those working in industrial zones. In the coming period, youth organizations in Bac Ninh will continue to innovate their activities, promote digital transformation, expand community-based programs, and replicate effective models to better meet the needs of young workers and encourage their contributions to the province’s development.
