From the 4th day of Tet, people have invited each other to Dong Ky festival - the traditional festival of the craft village currently considered the richest in Kinh Bac region to watch the procession of firecrackers into the communal house. The firecracker procession ceremony is solemnly organized, attracting a large number of viewers. If Dong Ky village festival attracts a large number of young people, Phat Tich pagoda festival is the choice of women. Going to Phat Tich pagoda festival, visitors not only get to attend the Peony Flower Festival but also have the opportunity to visit beautiful relics. There is still a thousand-year-old green stone statue of Amitabha Buddha in the position of a national treasure. The gandhura bird statue with a human head and bird body shows the mark of Champa culture. The stone and ceramic mascots of lions, elephants, rhinoceroses, buffaloes, horses and the carvings on the pedestals, the remaining relics of the ancient temple show the solemn appearance of royal culture.

Dong Ky village festival and the Peony Festival at Phat Tich pagoda have just ended, on the 7th and 8th of the first lunar month, people are calling each other to go see Do Xa festival. Located in the heart of Bac Ninh city today, many festivals are still maintained, with the traditional values of the Northern Delta region, the spring festival in Do Xa area has maintained the typical activities of the rice farming residents with the clay pot rice cooking competition. The traditional Lim festival held on the 12th, 13th and 14th of January every year is not only the pride of the people of Lim region but has also become a typical activity of Bac Ninh - Kinh Bac. When mentioning Lim festival, people immediately think of a Bac Ninh immersed in the smooth and affectionate Quan Ho melodies. Visitors from all over come to Lim festival to listen to Quan Ho singing and learn about Quan Ho cultural activities at a regional festival.

Bac Ninh traditional festival is a village festival. In the past, most villages in Bac Ninh were communes. Most villages had their own festivals. Therefore, the festival also had the name of the village or the name of the village's relic, such as Diem village festival or Ba Chua Kho temple festival, Do temple festival, Phat Tich pagoda festival, A Lu village temple festival, Than temple festival, Thap Dinh festival... Many traditional folk cultural activities were held at the festival such as: Quan Ho folk songs, water puppetry, human chess, to tom, unicorn dance, swing, wrestling, etc.

There are also large-scale festivals that go beyond the boundaries of each village. That is the Dai Bi Pagoda Festival (Gia Binh) organized by the villages in the old Van Tu commune. The Than Temple Festival (Cao Duc, Gia Binh) is organized by 7 villages worshiping Duc Cao Lo Vuong together; then the "Ten Dinh" festival at Bao Thap commune is held by 10 villages worshiping Duc Doan Cong - Dao Nuong, a couple and general of Hai Ba Trung; Lim festival is a festival of villages in the old Noi Due commune, Dau festival is a festival of villages in Khuong Tu commune... The above festivals are organized by the villages in coordination to organize some common activities such as book processions, ceremonies, but each village still has its own cultural and spiritual activities according to the traditions, customs and practices of each village, so the nature of the village festival is still preserved and expressed very clearly, reflecting the common features in the customs, traditions of cultural activities and spiritual life, religious beliefs of the residents in the area.

Coming to the traditional festivals in Bac Ninh is an opportunity for tourists to visit and have more time to learn more about the ancient customs and rituals that are still preserved by local people and recreated in many traditional festivals in Kinh Bac land every spring.
