(BNP) - On the evening of January 7th, at the Bac Ninh International Friendship Park (Vo Cuong Ward, Bac Ninh Province), the Provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Student Association of Bac Ninh Province organized the Student Festival - Welcoming the New Year 2026.
Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Thi Ha, along with leaders from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association and the Bac Ninh Provincial Youth Union, present the "January Star" Award, the "5 Good Students" title, the "3 Disciplined Students" title, and the "3 Good Students" title at the central level.
In his opening remarks at the festival, Mr. Tran Van Dang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Youth Union, stated that the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Student Association of Bac Ninh Province hoped that each student would continuously strive to study, cultivate morality, political acumen, and social skills to confidently integrate and contribute to building their homeland and country in the era of national progress. The festival is a practical activity of the youth of Bac Ninh province to celebrate the 76th anniversary of the Vietnamese Student Day (January 9, 1950 - 2026), welcome the 14th National Congress of the Party, and welcome the new year 2026.
At the Festival, the Provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Student Association of Bac Ninh province presented the "January Star" award to Than Thi Huyen Mai, a student at Bac Giang University of Agriculture and Forestry; and awarded the titles of "5 Good Students", "3 Disciplined Students" and "3 Good Students" at the central level.
At the same time, 20 outstanding students of the "5 Good Students" movement for the 2024-2025 academic year, 7 "5 Good Students" groups at the provincial level; 40 students who achieved the "3 Good Students" and "3 Disciplined Students" titles at the provincial level were commended; 5 outstanding students who overcame difficulties and excelled were awarded "Strong Future" scholarships, each scholarship worth VND 5 million …
Also at the program, delegates, youth union members, students, and the people enjoyed special and vibrant cultural performances and a traditional fire-lighting ceremony to celebrate the 76th anniversary of the Vietnamese Student and Youth Day, welcome the 14th National Congress of the Party, and welcome the New Year 2026.
