Infrastructure development has seen breakthroughs, particularly in transportation, with the Gia Binh International Airport project currently underway. Cultural and social sectors have received significant attention; policies for war veterans, social security, and poverty reduction have been comprehensively implemented. Party congresses at all levels have been successfully organized, clearly defining the direction and tasks for the new development phase. Inspection, auditing, and the fight against corruption, waste, and negative practices have been intensified; national defense and security have been implemented comprehensively and synchronously; and political security, social order, and safety have been maintained and stabilized.

In 2026, the province has set 30 socio-economic development targets, including striving for a Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) of VND 599 trillion; GRDP growth of 12.5-13%; 1.9 million employed people; a trained workforce rate of 82%; a forest cover rate (excluding fruit trees) of 30.9%; and 100% of industrial parks and clusters having centralized wastewater treatment systems before commencing operations.

To complete the socio-economic development plan for 2026, the Provincial People's Committee has set forth nine main groups of solutions, including: Continuing to implement the leadership and guidance documents of the Central Government, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, and the Provincial People's Committee's plan on socio-economic development tasks, ensuring double-digit economic growth; ensuring a streamlined, efficient, and strong political system and operating the two-tiered local model effectively and efficiently.

At the conference, many reporters asked questions about issues such as: the results of implementing social welfare support policies issued after the merger; solutions for investing in electricity and energy infrastructure to meet the needs of socio-economic development, especially the province's industrial sector; the progress of housing projects for police and military personnel; attention to improving transportation infrastructure in industrial zones to meet the commuting needs of workers and ensure traffic safety; solutions to support businesses in recruiting labor and ensuring the supply of human resources for production; effective control of extracurricular tutoring and school fees; and thorough handling of environmental pollution in craft villages and waste disposal sites in residential areas…

In his concluding remarks, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Mai Son emphasized that despite facing difficulties and challenges in a context of unprecedented changes, with the high determination of the entire political system, the province's socio-economic development in 2025 still achieved positive results. A highlight was the investment attraction efforts, and the index of services provided to citizens and businesses consistently led the country.

These results are significantly contributed by press agencies and reporters in disseminating the Party and State's guidelines and policies, especially in encouraging and motivating the spirit of work and solidarity among cadres, Party members, workers, and employees in fulfilling their duties.

He expressed his wish that in the coming time, press agencies and journalists would strengthen the dissemination of the province's development orientations and perspectives. This includes emphasizing the results, goals, and solutions for attracting investment; ensuring rapid development while maintaining sustainability and environmental protection; and paying attention to issues aimed at improving the quality of life for the people and ensuring social welfare.
