(BNP) - On the afternoon of December 18th, a delegation from Bac Ninh province led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, visited, presented gifts, and offered congratulations to the priests of Ngo Xa Parish (Xuan Cam commune) on the occasion of Christmas 2025.

Accompanying the delegation were Comrade Nguyen Dinh Loi, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; representatives from the leadership of several provincial departments, agencies, and Xuan Cam commune. Receiving the delegation were Father Nguyen Minh Tan, Dean of Bac Giang and Parish Priest of Ngo Xa Parish, and several other priests.

On behalf of the provincial leadership, Standing Deputy Secretary Nguyen Thi Huong informed the priests about some outstanding achievements in the socio-economic situation of Bac Ninh province in 2025. This year, Bac Ninh province, along with other provinces and cities nationwide, is implementing the restructuring and streamlining of the administrative apparatus and political system; it is the first year of implementing the two-tiered local government model, and also the final year of implementing the socio-economic development plan for the period 2021-2025.

The Standing Deputy Secretary acknowledged and highly appreciated the companionship and positive contributions of priest Nguyen Minh Tan and the Catholic parishioners of Ngo Xa Parish in socio-economic development, building the grassroots political system, and consolidating national unity. She also expressed his hope that the priests would continue to encourage parishioners to abide by the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws, actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, and contribute to the further development of Bac Ninh province. She wished the priests and parishioners of Ngo Xa Parish a peaceful and happy Christmas and a prosperous and healthy New Year 2026.

On this occasion, the Standing Deputy Secretary presented flowers and gifts from the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to congratulate Ngo Xa Parish. Representatives from the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and Xuan Cam commune also presented flowers and gifts to offer congratulations.

The priest expressed gratitude for the attention shown by the leaders of Bac Ninh province to the priests and parishioners of Ngo Xa Parish. He also affirmed his commitment to fulfilling his role, continuing to propagate and encourage parishioners to unite in implementing the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws, contributing to building a more prosperous and developed homeland.
