(BNP) - On the afternoon of October 10, the Bac Ninh Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association organized the program "Young Entrepreneurs Tet 2025" and announced the Decision of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to allow the merger of the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Bac Giang province and Bac Ninh province (old) into the Bac Ninh Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association.

Attending the program were Mr. Hoang Binh Quan, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Head of the Central External Relations Committee, Honorary President of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association; Mr. Nguyen Viet Oanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Mai Son, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Tran Van Tuan, Deputy Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies.
The Bac Ninh Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association established the "Young Entrepreneurs' Tet 2025" event to recognize entrepreneurs and businesses that have made significant contributions to the province's socioeconomic development. The Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association now has over 600 members, who work in a variety of businesses, employ over 100,000 people, and contribute significantly to the local economy.
In recent years, businessmen have actively participated in social security and charity activities launched by the province and the central government, such as the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, sponsoring poor students, Tet for the poor, and so on, with a total budget of tens of billions of VND per year.

Many enterprises operating in the electronics, garment export, leather and footwear, wood industries, etc. have reached out to regional and international markets, affirming the competitiveness of Vietnamese enterprises in the global value chain. The Young Entrepreneurs Association of Bac Giang province and Bac Ninh province (old) has done well in the following activities: Economic discussions, trade promotion and calling for investment, support and consulting on start-ups for young people.
Speaking at the program, Standing Vice Chairman Mai Son congratulated the achievements that the business community and entrepreneurs of Bac Ninh province have achieved in recent times. At the same time, he sincerely thanked the companionship, sharing and dedication of entrepreneurs and enterprises in the process of the province’s socio-economic development.
He briefed on an overview of the province's socio-economic situation in the first 9 months of 2025. After the merger, Bac Ninh's economic scale ranked 5th in the country. Growth rate ranked 6th in the country; import and export grew strongly, especially export, Bac Ninh ranked 2nd in the country in terms of export turnover, after Ho Chi Minh City. Particularly in attracting foreign direct investment, Bac Ninh is currently the leader in the country... These are "impressive" numbers that open up new opportunities for the province's economic development in the coming time.

The Standing Vice Chairman suggested that after the merger, the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association should continue to unite, improve the quality and efficiency of operations, support each other to develop together so that the Association can truly be a common home for members and young entrepreneurs in the province; focus on joint ventures, associations, and cooperation in production and product consumption between domestic enterprises and FDI enterprises; strengthen training on management skills and new policies for members; actively participate in criticizing provincial policies and business development policies; apply digital transformation and science and technology in production and business, increase revenue, and make high contributions to the provincial budget.

A the program, the representative from the Department of Home Affairs announced the Decision of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to allow the merger of the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Bac Giang province and Bac Ninh province (old) into the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Bac Ninh province. This is a professional social organization, complying with the provisions of law, under the State management of the Department of Finance and agencies related to the Association's field.
On this occasion, the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association launched a fundraising campaign to help children affected by storms and floods and received the participation of many delegates and entrepreneurs with a total amount of VND 500 million.
