(BNP) - According to information from the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), all 5/5 students of the Vietnamese team participating in the 2025 International Physics Olympiad won medals, including 01 Gold and 04 Silver medals. Of which, Bac Ninh province had 01 student winning a Silver medal.

That is Nguyen Cong Vinh, a grade 12 Physics student at Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted. He previously won the Gold Medal at the 2025 Asian Physics Olympiad, as well as the First Prize in Physics for two consecutive years at the National High School Excellent Student Competition in the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 school years. In addition, he won the Bronze Medal at the 2024 European Physics Olympiad.
The 55th International Physics Olympiad 2025 will be held in France from July 17 to 25, 2025, with 406 candidates representing 94 countries and territories. The exam is divided into two official exam days: one for theory and one for practice, with each exam lasting five hours.
With 01 Gold and 04 Silver Medals, the Vietnamese delegation is in the top 10 countries with the highest results at the 2025 National Physics Olympiad.
