(BNP) - On the afternoon of May 12th, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Lam Thi Huong Thanh attended the "Trade Union Meal" program for workers at Ha Thanh Fashion Garment Joint Stock Company (Trung Tam Hamlet, Hoang Van Commune).
Attending the program were Mr. Thach Van Chung, Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor; representatives from the leadership of Hoang Van Commune; the Company's leadership, the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union, and more than 1,100 workers of Ha Thanh Fashion Garment Joint Stock Company.

In response to the 2026 Workers' Month, the Hoang Van Commune Trade Union, in coordination with Ha Thanh Fashion Garment Joint Stock Company, organized the "Trade Union Meal Program" with many meaningful and practical activities aimed at union members and workers.
The program contributes to affirming the role of the Trade Union organization in implementing Conclusion No. 03/KL-BCH dated January 18, 2022, of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on improving the quality of meals for workers. Mid-shift and lunch meals receive increased support compared to normal days, ensuring adequate nutrition, food safety and hygiene, and suitability to the actual conditions of the enterprise.

Speaking at the event, the Chairman of the Trade Union of Ha Thanh Fashion Garment Joint Stock Company expressed his honor that the Executive Committee of the Trade Union had the opportunity to welcome the leaders to attend and share in the joy with the collective of workers and employees. He also affirmed that the presence of the leaders was a great source of encouragement, demonstrating the deep concern of all levels and sectors for the lives, thoughts, and aspirations of the workforce.
According to the Chairman of the Company's Trade Union, the "Trade Union Meal" is not only a collective meal but also a symbol of solidarity and close ties between the Trade Union organization, the enterprise, and the workers. It is also a practical activity to express gratitude for the contributions of workers to the development of the enterprise.
On behalf of the Company’s Trade Union Executive Committee, the Chairman expressed sincere appreciation to leaders at all levels for their attention and guidance. He also thanked the Company’s leadership for their continued support and for creating favorable conditions for the Trade Union to improve the quality of workers’ meals, thereby enhancing both their material and spiritual well-being.
The Trade Union also affirmed that in the coming time, it will continue to uphold its role in representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers, thereby motivating employees to work diligently and creatively and contribute to the sustainable development of the enterprise.
