(BNP) - On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - 2025), a delegation of Bac Ninh province led by Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Gau on July 25, offered incense and commemorated the heroic martyrs at Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery and Road 9 National Martyrs' Cemetery in Quang Tri province.

Joining the delegation were Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan; Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Tran Thi Hang; Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Dinh Loi.
In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, the delegation offered flowers and incense at the Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery and the Road 9 National Martyrs' Cemetery.

Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery has a total area of 140,000 m2, gathering more than 10,000 martyrs' graves, of which 678 are martyrs' graves from Bac Ninh.
The Road 9 National Martyrs' Cemetery is the resting place of more than 9,500 martyrs. Among which, there are 142 graves of martyrs who are children of Bac Ninh.

At the martyrs' cemeteries, the delegation respectfully offered incense and flowers to Uncle Ho's altar, expressing their respect and deep gratitude to the outstanding children from all over the country who died for the cause of national liberation and reunification. Besides, the delegation offered incense and visited the graves of martyrs of Bac Ninh province.
