(BNP) - On the morning of July 23, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Mai Son worked with Mr. Richard Bernhard, Chief Representative of Kenan Foundation Asia in Vietnam.

Speaking at the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman Mai Son expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Richard Bernhard for visiting Bac Ninh province. Kenan Foundation Asia has recently financed a variety of education and training projects in the province.
Son stated that Bac Ninh presently has 13 aid programs, including projects and non-projects, from foreign organizations. Kenan's project "Narrowing the gap in knowledge and vocational skills for Vietnamese students" has finished soft skills training and granted diplomas to instructors and students at Bac Ninh Industrial College. In the period 2025-2026, the project will continue to focus on surveying training needs and developing training programs on skills and techniques for high technology and semiconductor lecturers.

Kenan organization is working on implementing a survey on the need to train source lecturers in AI applications for the Project "For a Green Planet and AI Education - Building the Future" approved by the Provincial People's Committee in Decision No. 708/QD-UBND dated April 24, 2025.
At the meeting, Son hoped that Kenan Organization would continue to learn and visit vocational training facilities in Bac Ninh province (after the merger), thereby having more facilities to support the implementation and expansion of projects.
Following the completion of the "For a Green Planet and AI Education - Creating the Future" project, Kenan continues to research and develop high-tech training projects for students in the province, utilizing artificial intelligence; conduct research and implementation of new aid projects, promote educational exchange programs, and train high-quality technical human resources for green and sustainable development...

For his part, Mr. Richard Bernhard expressed his joy and excitement about visiting Bac Ninh province. As a province with a comprehensive vision for socioeconomic development strategy, it consistently ranks in the top ten in the country for attracting FDI investment.
