(BNP) - On August 11, the Provincial Public Security, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism jointly organized the opening of the exhibition to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - 2025), the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - 2025); commended and awarded children of cadres, soldiers, and godchildren with high achievements in the 2024 - 2025 school year at the Bac Ninh Provincial Museum No. 1.
Delegates cut the ribbon to open the exhibition.
Attending the program were Major General Ngo Hoai Thu, Deputy Director of the Department of Party and Political Work, Head of the Women's Committee of the People's Public Security; Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Mai Son and leaders of a number of departments, branches and sectors.

At the program, the Organizing Committee opened an exhibition to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection. The exhibition will run until September 20 with a system of valuable, vivid images, documents, and original artifacts of high educational significance.
In addition, the Organizing Committee also displayed and introduced works from the Writing and Drawing Contest "Proud to be the child of a police officer" that won prizes at the provincial and Ministry of Public Security levels.

In the 2024-2025 school year, hundreds of children of officers, soldiers, and godchildren of the Provincial Public Security achieved high results. Specifically, 1 student won a Bronze Medal at the International Math Olympiad, 14 students won national prizes, and 69 students won provincial prizes in the fields of culture, arts, and sports.
The Writing - Drawing Contest “Proud to be the child of a police officer” launched by the Ministry of Public Security had hundreds of works from the provincial police. As a result, 73 works won provincial prizes, 8 works won Ministry of Public Security prizes.

Also at the program, the Organizing Committee commended and rewarded more than 170 children of officers and soldiers of the Provincial Public Security, godchildren in the "Godmother" Program of women of the Provincial Public Security who achieved high achievements in studying and the Writing - Drawing Contest "Proud to be the child of a Police soldier".

On the other hand, the Organizing Committee arranged a fire fighting and rescue experience area with models, equipment and modern fire fighting vehicles. Officers of the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police Department instructed the children on escape skills and the use of fire extinguishers.
