(BNP) - The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has just issued Plan to organize the 3rd Provincial Robocon Competition in 2026.

The Bac Ninh Provincial Robocon Competition, chaired by the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations, in coordination with departments, agencies, sectors, and units, has been organized twice. The competition has gathered thousands of young people, teachers, and technology experts to participate. Thereby, it has created a new intellectual playground, becoming a movement to promote young people in the province to research technology platforms, improve knowledge of programming, artificial intelligence, robotics, STEM education, etc.
With the theme “Bac Ninh Takes Off”, the 3rd Bac Ninh Provincial Robocon Contest 2026 is organized to continue creating a favorable environment that nurtures passion for innovation, offering local youth the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities, teamwork skills, enrich their knowledge, and improve their competence and creative thinking in programming and robot design to apply in solving real-life problems. The contest also contributes to fostering high-quality human resources for innovation, digital transformation, and the province’s cause of industrialization and modernization, while building the image of Bac Ninh’s young generation as dynamic and creative.
The contest is open to young people aged 9 to 22 (born between 2004 and 2017) who are studying or living in and outside Bac Ninh province. Specifically, the “3rd Bac Ninh Provincial Robocon Contest 2026” is for groups of youth aged 9 to 18 who are currently studying or residing in Bac Ninh province. There is no limit to the number of teams registered from a single school or locality; each team may have up to 3 members. Each individual may only participate in one team and in the correct competition category. The contest will be launched in October 2025, with the Preliminary Round in March 2026 and the Final Round in April 2026.
The contest is open to young people aged 9 to 22 who are studying or residing across the country. The competition will host no more than 150 teams, with each team consisting of up to 3 members. Each individual may only participate in one team and in the correct competition category. Registration begins in April 2026, and the competition as well as the closing ceremony will take place in July 2026.
At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee will award a maximum of 03 First prizes, 06 Second prizes, 09 Third prizes and 30 Encouragement prizes for the "3rd Bac Ninh Provincial Robocon 2026".
