These ICs have attracted 1,462 investment projects with a total registered capital of approximately VND 26,210 billion. The main production sectors in these ICs focus on supporting industries such as: electrical equipment, mechanical manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals; while also developing agricultural and food processing sectors, contributing to promoting the shift in economic structure towards industrialization and modernization.
In particular, the craft village clusters in Dai Bai, Van Mon, and Dong Ky continue to play an important role in preserving and developing traditional crafts while controlling environmental pollution, gradually relocating production activities away from residential areas, and improving living conditions for people.
The above results show that the industrial cluster system in Bac Ninh province continues to affirm its important role in promoting the development of the domestic economy, creating jobs, increasing people's income, and contributing to ensuring social security in the locality.
According to the approved industrial cluster development plan for the 2021–2030 period, Bac Ninh province plans to establish 30 new industrial clusters covering a total area of approximately 1,700 hectares, while expanding six existing clusters by an additional 146 hectares. At the same time, 18 industrial clusters with a total area of around 331 hectares have been removed from the planning scheme, converted, or dissolved, while three industrial clusters covering a combined area of 147.1 hectares have been integrated into industrial parks.
According to the planning orientation, by 2030, Bac Ninh province will have 91 industrial clusters with a total area of approximately 4,251 hectares, ensuring compliance with the requirements of industrial and urban development and environmental protection in the new phase.
