(BNP) - On the afternoon of November 14, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Mai Son worked with the Government Office's working delegation led by Mr. Tran Van Son, Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister, Head of the Government Office, on the implementation of Resolution No. 66/NQ-CP and Decree No. 118/2025/ND-CP of the Government on administrative procedure reform and the one-stop-shop and inter-connected one-stop-shop mechanisms.

Minister and Head of the Government Office Tran Van Son acknowledged and expressed his impression with the results of handling administrative procedures at the Bac Giang Ward Public Administration Service Center and the Bac Ninh Provincial Public Administration Service Center, demonstrating the professionalism of local authorities in handling administrative procedures for people and businesses in a timely and effective manner.
According to the report at the working session, after merging the 2-level local government model, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has developed a plan to implement tasks under the direction of the Government, ensuring compliance with the actual situation.

To encourage people to use online public services, Bac Ninh province continues to implement a policy of not charging fees for 42 administrative procedures for online transactions, as well as free issuance of criminal records through the VNeID application. In addition, the province uses the "24-hour Green Channel" and "60% Green Channel" mechanisms to carry out administrative procedures for major projects.

At the meeting, delegates discussed a number of shortcomings and difficulties related to administrative procedure reform and the one-stop shop and inter-connected one-stop shop mechanisms. Through this, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province also proposed that the Government soon direct the implementation of reviewing, amending and supplementing legal documents regulating administrative procedures in the direction of reducing the number of documents, replacing them with data mining; building a national data center for unified use across the country...
Speaking at the meeting, Minister and Head of the Government Office Tran Van Son acknowledged and commended the outstanding results of Bac Ninh province in implementing administrative reforms and the one-stop shop and inter-connected one-stop shop mechanisms.
He suggested that the province should continue to promote the results achieved in administrative procedure reform, publicity and transparency in administrative procedure processes, and reduction and simplification of administrative procedures; focus on reviewing procedures and documents, removing "barriers" to reforming administrative procedures under the province's jurisdiction, prioritizing investment in facilities and equipment; enhance training and improving the capacity and qualifications of staff, civil servants and public employees working at the grassroots Public Administration Service Center to meet the requirements of the task; promote the digitization of documents and the implementation of online public services, standardize and synchronize the process of handling administrative procedures, contributing to shortening processing time and improving the satisfaction level of people and businesses.
Speaking at the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman Mai Son that the Provincial People's Committee would assign specific tasks to each department, branch, and locality to review tasks and targets on administrative procedure reform to ensure compliance with the prescribed time. At the same time, he directed localities to review, evaluate, and arrange cadres, civil servants, and public employees at the Public Administration Service Centers to improve the quality and efficiency of work, meet the requirements of administrative reform, and serve local socio-economic development.
