(BNP) - The Department of Science and Technology of Bac Ninh province has just issued Plan on the implementation of the 55th UPU International Letter Writing Competition (2026) in the province.

According to the plan, the 55th UPU International Letter Writing Competition will be open to all students aged 9-15 in Bac Ninh province, aiming to hone writing skills, foster creative thinking, help students understand social issues, express their thoughts and responsibilities towards the community, the country, and the world; and at the same time help students better understand the role of the postal service in social life.
The 2026 competition with the theme "Write a letter to a friend explaining why human connection matters in a digital world," was organized in accordance with the theme and regulations issued by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
The provincial-level launch ceremony for the 55th UPU International Letter Writing Competition will be held on January 26, 2026, at Hoang Van Thu Secondary School, Bac Giang Ward; schools must complete the launch of the competition before February 5, 2026. The competition rules and plan will be widely disseminated at launch ceremonies, through mass media, and on the electronic portals of the participating schools. The compilation and statistical analysis of participation results throughout the province will be completed before March 20, 2026; the awards ceremony will be held after the central government concludes the competition.
