(BNP) - On the evening of April 24th, in the central area of Que Vo ward, the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation organized the launch of the Workers' Month, the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), and the opening of a booth for workers in 2026.

Attending the program were Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Tran Van Tuan, Provincial Party Committee Member, Deputy Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Thach Van Chung, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor said that this year’s Workers’ Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health would focus on organizing visits and presenting gifts to workers facing difficulties; implementing welfare programs for union members with the determination that no member would be left behind; and strengthening workplace safety discipline.

Over the years, trade unions at all levels across the province have continuously renewed the content and methods of their operations, providing increasingly better care for the material and spiritual well-being of union members and workers. At the same time, they have launched widespread patriotic emulation movements and creative labor campaigns, making significant contributions to the province’s economic growth.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Ha acknowledged and highly appreciated the role of trade unions at all levels across the province in proactively renewing the content and methods of their activities, actively caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers, and launching many practical and effective emulation movements, thereby contributing to the building of harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations in enterprises.

She requested trade union levels to continue to promote their core role in caring for, representing, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers, putting workers at the center, proactively adapting to digital transformation, and improving operational efficiency.

At the program, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation in coordination with the Department of Industry and Trade, the Provincial Farmers’ Association, the Provincial Cooperative Alliance, and partner enterprises, signed a cooperation agreement to organize 40 booths showcasing OCOP products and regional specialties from Bac Ninh Province as well as several other provinces and cities nationwide, offering discounted prices to meet the shopping needs of workers.
Also at the program, the Provincial Labor Union awarded Certificates of Merit to two authors who composed songs about the Bac Ninh Labor Union, including: "Bac Ninh, Love for the Labor Union" by Nghiem Xuan Dan and the song "Bac Ninh Labor Union - The Flame That Lights Up Faith" by Dao Anh Tuan.
According to the plan, the program will take place over 3 days from April 24 to 26, 2026 in the central area of Que Vo ward, Bac Ninh province.
