(BNP) - On the afternoon of July 29, the Provincial People's Committee held a conference to commend and reward students with excellent achievements in international and regional Olympic competitions and students who achieved the highest score in the national high school graduation exam in 2025 as well as artists who won the Gold Prize at the 2025 Asian Arts Festival.

At the National High School Excellent Student Competition for the 2024-2025 school year, the Bac Ninh education sector continued to be in the top of the provinces and cities with 180/206 contestants winning prizes, accounting for 87.3%; including 17 First prizes.
The province has 06 students from Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted selected to the Vietnamese team to compete in regional and international Olympics and all won prizes with 05 medals, 01 Certificate of Merit, including 01 Gold Medal of the International Chemistry Olympiad (student Ngo Quang Minh, grade 12 Chemistry); 01 Silver Medal of the International Physics Olympiad (student Nguyen Cong Vinh, grade 12 Physics); 01 Bronze Medal of the International Math Olympiad (student Truong Thanh Xuan, grade 11 Math 1); 01 Gold Medal of the Asian Physics Olympiad (student Nguyen Cong Vinh, grade 12 Physics); 01 Gold Medal and 01 Certificate of Merit of the European Physics Olympiad (students Nguyen Tran Hieu and Ha Tuan Kiet).

In the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, Bac Ninh province ranked 9th out of 34 provinces and cities in terms of average scores in exam subjects; the average score in Biology ranked first in the country for the first time... Notably, Bac Ninh province has Nguyen Quang Minh, Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted who was the national valedictorian in block A00 with an absolute score of 30/30 points.
Besides, Nguyen Thi Minh Ngoc (Thuan Thanh ward, Bac Ninh province), a student at the Vietnam National Academy of Music, won the Gold Cup in the professional vocal category at the 2025 Asian Arts Festival in Singapore from July 12 to 19, 2025, with the performance "Send back Quan Ho" - a composition imbued with the character of the homeland by musician Duc Mieng.

The Chairman recognized the outstanding achievements and awarded a Certificate of Merit to Nguyen Thi Minh Ngoc, who won the Gold Cup in the professional vocal category at the 2025 Asian Arts Festival, as well as 6 students who won regional and international Olympic prizes, in accordance with Resolution No. 02 of 2021 of the Bac Ninh People's Council (old).
