Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan visits and presents gifts to evolutionary contributor in Bac Giang and Da Mai wards

(BNP) - On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - 2025), Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan on July 20, visited and presented gifts to evolutionary contributor in Bac Giang and Da Mai wards.

Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan and the delegation visited and presented gifts to two evolutionary contributors. Specifically, Mr. Phung Xuan Ke, born in 1941, currently living in Zone 34 (former Song Mai), Da Mai ward; is a wounded soldier with a disability rate of 87%; Mr. Le Van Quy, born in 1953, currently living at No. 5, Lane 10, Nguyen Cao Street, Group 5 (former Ngo Quyen ward), Bac Giang ward; is a wounded soldier with a disability rate of 55% - 63%.

Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan kindly inquired about the health of Mr. Phung Xuan Ke and Mr. Le Van Quy and their families during his visits. At the same time, he expressed his deep gratitude for the great contributions of the wounded and sick soldiers and their families in the struggle for national liberation, national reunification, and Fatherland protection.  He also emphasized that the Party, the State, and Party committees and authorities at all levels pay attention, dedicate significant resources, and implement policies to care for evolutionary contributor and the families of policy beneficiaries.

The Chairman wished the wounded and sick soldiers good health and continued to promote the revolutionary tradition with strong will and determination, overcoming difficulties and illnesses, maintaining health, living happily, continuing to be a shining example for the younger generation to follow, and contributing to the construction and development of the homeland and country.

On the other hand, he requested that local Party committees and authorities continue to pay attention to, fully and promptly implement policies for people with revolutionary contributions; regularly visit, encourage, and care for the material and spiritual lives of policy families.

On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan presented each wounded and sick soldier with a gift worth VND 2 million; leaders of the People's Committees of Bac Giang and Da Mai wards presented 2 gifts to 2 families of outstanding evolutionary contributor./.
