Results of socio-economic development in Bac Ninh province in 2025

(BNP) - In 2025, Bac Ninh province's economy will continue to develop rapidly, with many indicators ranking among the top in the country. The province will complete 17 out of 18 key socio-economic development targets for 2025, with many targets exceeding the plan.

(1) GRDP growth is estimated 10.27%, ranking 5th nationwide, 4th in the Red River Delta region, and one of the 6 provinces and cities achieving double-digit growth in 2025.

(2) GRDP per capita is estimated 5,852 USD/year, 1.16 times higher than the national average. Estimated per capita income is 5.75 million VND/month.

(3) Total social investment capital in the province is estimated at VND 158,680 billion, an increase of 20% compared to the previous year and exceeding the set plan.

(4) Labor productivity increased by 9%, exceeding the set plan.

(5) Total import and export turnover reached USD 182 billion, exceeding the set plan, continuing to be one of the top two localities and accounting for 20% of the total import and export turnover of the whole country. Of which:

- Exports are estimated at USD 94 billion, an increase of 36.1% compared to the same period and equal to 126% of the plan.

- Imports are estimated at USD 88 billion, an increase of 38.3% compared to the same period and equal to 121% of the plan.

(6) Total state budget revenue in the area is estimated at VND 72,497 billion, equal to 127.6% of the budget estimate, an increase of 34.7% compared to the same period in 2024.

(7) Attracting USD 18.6 billion in converted investment capital. In particular, attracting FDI capital ranks 3rd in the country.

(8) Welcoming 6.3 million tourists, exceeding the set target. Total revenue from tourism activities reached VND 5,500 billion, an increase of 13% compared to 2024 and equal to 105% of the 2025 plan.

(9) Urbanization rate reached 43.5%.

(10) Percentage of population using clean water meeting standards reached 78.82%.

(11) Percentage of communes meeting new rural standards reached 77.3%.

(12) Percentage of schools meeting national standards level 1 reached 94.2%, level 2 reached 49.8%.

(13) Number of hospital beds/10,000 people (excluding commune health stations) reached 36.2 beds. Percentage of people with health insurance cards reached 95.38%. The percentage of working-age labor force participating in social insurance reached 52.6%

(14) The poverty rate (according to the multidimensional poverty standard for the period 2021-2025) is 0.56%

(15) The percentage of trained labor is 80%, of which the percentage of trained labor with degrees and certificates is 35.9%. The urban unemployment rate is 2.05%.

(16) The percentage of household solid waste collected and treated hygienically reached 95.8%

(17) The percentage of operating industrial parks with centralized wastewater treatment systems meeting environmental standards reached 100%; the percentage of operating industrial clusters with centralized wastewater treatment systems meeting standards reached 58.2%; the percentage of seriously polluting facilities that were treated reached 100%

(18) The forest cover rate (excluding fruit trees) reached 31.1%.
