(BNP) - On the afternoon of July 30, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Xuan Loi visited and worked with Tay Yen Tu commune on the initial results of implementing the 2-level government model.

Tay Yen Tu commune was established on the basis of merging the entire administrative boundaries of Thanh Luan commune and Tay Yen Tu town with a natural area of 132.76 km2, a population of more than 11 thousand people, and 11 villages. The commune party committee consists of 25 grassroots and linked party committees, totaling 477 party members.

Regarding economic development, the average economic growth rate of the commune in the period 2021-2025 is 8.07%. The total production value in 2025 is estimated at VND 328 billion, an increase of 33.8% compared to 2020.

Implementing the two-level local government model, the Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of the commune have focused on early stabilizing the operating apparatus of the Party, government, Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations according to the direction and guidance of the Central Government and the province.
At the meeting, Tay Yen Tu commune proposed and requested that the province pay attention and provide financial support to renovate, repair, and upgrade the office building, the Public Administration Service Center, and supplement necessary equipment to fully meet the criteria and better serve the people; support attracting investment in wood processing factories for export in the area; and urge the implementation of the Tay Yen Tu spiritual and ecological tourism project.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman Loi acknowledged the efforts of Tay Yen Tu commune in performing its tasks immediately after the administrative unit merger. He suggested that the commune should continue to implement synchronous solutions to promote socio-economic development and improve the lives of people in the commune.
