(BNP) - The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has just issued Decision No. 947/QD-UBND approving the Detailed Planning Task at a scale of 1/500 for the Gia Binh 2 International Airport Urban Area.
According to the Decision, the planning research area is located within the administrative boundaries of Gia Binh, Nhan Thang, and Dong Cuu communes, Bac Ninh province.
The planning area covers approximately 560.5 hectares with an estimated population ranging from 70,000 to 80,000 people.
The project will include main subdivisions such as: residential land, mixed-use land for housing and services, land for healthcare, education, culture, green spaces - water bodies, and parking lots.
The economic and technical indicators of the urban area are applied according to standards for a Class I urban area. This area is positioned as a modern, integrated new urban area with comprehensive technical and social infrastructure, playing a supporting role and closely linked to Gia Binh International Airport.
An Phu Infrastructure and Real Estate Development Joint Stock Company is assigned as the planning organization. The time for completing the detailed planning project is no more than 6 months from the date the task is approved.
The formation of Gia Binh International Airport Urban Area 2 not only concretizes the Bac Ninh Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030 but also contributes to creating a civilized living environment and developing a sustainable urban and service space for the area south of the Duong River.
