(BNP) - On the morning of July 21, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Mai Son inspected the pilot implementation of the “People's Assistant” model at the Song Lieu Ward Public Administration Service Center.

The model combines support from Bac Ninh Provincial Post Office staff with an AI-powered virtual assistant, helping residents look up administrative procedures, prepare and submit applications online, and receive on-site guidance.
Piloted since July 14, 2026, the model has been equipped with three computers, three scanners and virtual assistant software installed on five computers. Three post office staff have also been assigned to assist residents with administrative procedures.
As of July 20, the system had processed 46 applications and completed configuration for 30 of 46 planned administrative procedures. The model has initially helped reduce the workload of civil servants, increase online application rates and improve public services.
Vice Chairman Mai Son praised the agencies involved for their proactive coordination and asked them to continue updating data and improving the software's functions to make the system smarter, more user-friendly and convenient, enabling residents to access public services with less reliance on direct assistance from officials./.
