Bac Ninh provincial leaders meet and dialogue with women cadres and members in 2026

(BNP) - On the morning of July 22nd, at the Provincial Conference Center, the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee organized a meeting and dialogue between provincial leaders and women cadres and members in 2026. The meeting was chaired by Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies; Mr. Le Xuan Loi, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and Ms. Nguyen Phuong Mai, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and President of the Provincial Women's Union.

At the meeting, provincial leaders listened to the thoughts, aspirations, proposals, and recommendations of women cadres and members regarding the implementation of policies and laws related to women; issues concerning the legitimate rights and interests of women; and the activities of the Women's Union. Delegates focused on proposing improvements to policies and regulations for Women's Union cadres and political and social organizations at the grassroots level. To increase the proportion of women participating in Party committees and People's Councils at all levels; to support employment for women, especially women aged 40 and above; to expand social security policies and increase capital to support job creation and household economic development.

According to the report, the province currently has 99 Women's Union branches at the commune and ward levels, 1,385 sub-branches with more than 381,000 members. In recent years, the Women's Union at all levels has implemented many practical movements and activities, contributing to building new rural areas, civilized urban areas, protecting the environment, supporting women's entrepreneurship, economic development, poverty reduction, and caring for women and children in difficult circumstances. During the 2021-2025 term, the Women's Union at all levels supported nearly 4,000 women in starting businesses, provided vocational training for more than 45,200 female workers, and helped more than 17,500 poor and near-poor households escape poverty.

At the conference, representatives from various departments and agencies directly exchanged views and addressed numerous opinions and suggestions, while also providing information on regulations and solutions for each group of issues. Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman Le Xuan Loi acknowledged and highly appreciated the sense of responsibility and dedication of the female cadres and members; affirming that these opinions and suggestions are an important basis for all levels and sectors to research, refine policies, and improve the effectiveness of management and administration.

Concluding the conference, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thi Huong requested relevant agencies and units to promptly implement and resolve the legitimate requests of female cadres and members; for issues beyond their authority, they should compile and submit recommendations to the Central Government for consideration and resolution. The comrade expressed his wish that female cadres and members in the province would continue to uphold the tradition of solidarity, innovation, and creativity, improve their skills and abilities, actively participate in emulation movements, and contribute to the successful achievement of socio-economic development goals, building Bac Ninh into a rapidly and sustainably developing province.

On this occasion, the Chairwoman of the Provincial Women's Union, Nguyen Phuong Mai, received a Certificate of Merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union. 20 collectives and 30 individuals with outstanding achievements in emulation movements were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union.
