(BNP) - Vice Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Pham Van Thinh recently signed Decision No. 1165/QD-UBND recognizing 143 beautiful lychee orchards in 15 communes and wards in the province in 2026 (Phase 1).

According to the Decision, the 15 communes and wards with beautiful lychee orchards include: Tan Son, Dong Ky, Phuong Son, Yen The, Son Hai, Kien Lao, Luc Son, Luc Ngan, Phuc Hoa, Nha Nam, Bien Son, Chu, Nam Duong, Deo Gia, and Dong Phu.
The recognition of these beautiful lychee orchards aims to enhance the brand value of Bac Ninh lychees; promote safe agricultural production, linked with the development of experiential tourism, trade promotion, and local image promotion.
To effectively promotes the recognized beautiful lychee orchards, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Agriculture and Environment to take the lead in guiding orchard owners to implement safe production techniques; especially strictly controlling the use of pesticides according to the permitted list and ensuring the quarantine period to serve domestic consumption, export, and to welcome tourists for visits and experiences.
The Department of Industry and Trade is tasked with organizing trade promotion activities, connecting product consumption through businesses and supermarket systems domestically and internationally; and boosting online sales on platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, Shopee, and Lazada. At the same time, it will organize training and guidance for orchard owners to livestream selling lychees directly from their orchards with the participation of local leaders and the Bac Ninh Provincial Branch of the KOL/KOC Club to promote the product and improve sales efficiency.
In addition, the Department of Industry and Trade, in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Agriculture and Environment, and local authorities, connects tourists to visit, experience, and purchase lychees directly from the orchards; thereby spreading the beautiful image of Bac Ninh lychees to people domestically and internationally.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will lead the selection of approximately 20 exemplary lychee orchards out of 143 recognized orchards to develop experiential tourism programs, organize tours, festivals, and promotional events associated with ecological and spiritual tourism destinations such as Tay Yen Tu, Vinh Nghiem Pagoda, Dong Ho painting village… contributing to honoring the brand value of Bac Ninh lychees.
The Department of Science and Technology will implement digital technology applications and traceability systems for orchard owners; provide technical support for new production methods and post-harvest preservation technologies to improve productivity and product quality.
Press and media agencies, in coordination with departments, sectors, and localities, will strengthen propaganda on the production, consumption, and experiential tourism activities at beautiful lychee orchards in the province.
The People's Committees of communes and wards with recognized beautiful lychee orchards will directly guide farmers to implement the correct production process, ensuring environmental hygiene, security, and traffic safety for tourists; they will also support the placement of signs identifying beautiful lychee orchards, organize the announcement of recognition, summarize achievements, and reward outstanding collectives and individuals to encourage emulation in production.
For orchard owners, the Provincial People's Committee requires them to care for their orchards according to technical standards, comply with contracts signed with buyers; proactively coordinate with relevant agencies and units, and raise awareness in building and developing the lychee brand of the province and localities.
