(BNP) - On the afternoon of December 22nd, a delegation of Bac Ninh province led by Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Hoang Son visited and congratulated priest Nguyen Van Khiem, the parish priest of Tu Ne Church in Luong Tai commune, on the occasion of Christmas 2025.

During the visit, Chairman Pham Hoang Son briefly informed the priest and parishioners about some outstanding achievements in the socio-economic development of Bac Ninh province in 2025. Accordingly, the province continues to achieve many positive results in various fields, ranking among the leading localities nationwide in many development indicators. He acknowledged and highly appreciated the important contributions of the Catholic community to the overall development of the locality.

The Chairman also provided further information about the Gia Binh International Airport Project – a key national project with strategic significance for the development of the province and the region. He affirmed that during the project's implementation, the province has always paid attention to and carried out compensation, support, and resettlement work in a transparent and lawful manner, ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of the people, striving to ensure that people have a life equal to or better than their previous living conditions. He also expressed his hope that the parish priest would continue to cooperate with the government in disseminating information and mobilizing parishioners to create consensus and contribute to the project's timely implementation.
