Bac Ninh was proud to possess a massive treasure of heritage with 1,455 relics, 8 UNESCO-recognized heritages, along with a system of craft villages and unique festivals. Located at the northeastern gateway of Hanoi Capital, with a rich cultural heritage system and diverse natural landscapes, Bac Ninh was evaluated as a highly potential “natural studio” for cinema development.
In the context where cinema was increasingly becoming a cultural industry with powerful spillover effects, connecting cinema with heritage and tourism was identified as a strategic direction, contributing to promoting the local socio-economic development.
At the conference, representatives of directors, screenwriters, and filmmakers focused on discussing and clarifying the potential and direction of cooperation with the province. Many opinions suggested that Bac Ninh possessed an abundant source of historical and cultural themes associated with typical figures, suitable for developing valuable cinematic works.
