(BNP) – On the morning of April 7, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province held a conference to implement a model for carrying out the campaign “All people unite to build new-style rural and civilized urban areas” in association with the development of the collective economy in Dong Quyt hamlet, Nam Duong commune
Representatives from associations, mass organizations, socio-political organizations, and clan lineages in Dong Quyt Hamlet sign a commitment to implement the campaign.
Dong Quyt Hamlet in Nam Duong Commune has an advantageous geographical location for increasing agricultural productivity and enhancing residents' livelihoods. The hamlet has a big natural land area, which is primarily agricultural and residential. It is home to 252 households and a total population of 928 people.
The implementation of the campaign “All people unite to participate in building new-style rural areas and civilized urban areas” in association with the development of the collective economy aims to mobilize the broad participation of all people in solidarity to actively engage in building new-style rural areas through specific and practical actions linked to collective economic development. It also seeks to advise and propose to authorities at all levels to continue investing in facilities and equipment to support the work of building new-style rural areas in connection with the development of the collective economy.
At the same time, efforts will be intensified to implement solutions to raise awareness and responsibility, and to create strong changes in both perception and action among officials, Party members, members of organizations, and all strata of society, so that the building of new-style rural areas associated with collective economic development in hamlets and residential areas becomes an essential need and a civilized way of life for every citizen in the community.
At the conference, representatives from associations, mass organizations, socio-political organizations, and clan lineages in the hamlet jointly signed a commitment to implement the model of the campaign “All people unite to build new-style rural areas and civilized urban areas” in association with the development of the collective economy in Nam Duong Commune.
Immediately after the conference, leaders of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee visited and provided financial support for purchasing materials, production tools, crop varieties, and livestock breeds to two poor and near-poor households, as well as households facing difficult circumstances, to develop economic models in Dong Quyt Hamlet, Nam Duong Commune (with support of VND 10 million per household).
According to the plan, from now until April 24, the Standing Committee of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee will continue to organize conferences to implement the model of the campaign “All people unite to build new-style rural areas and civilized urban areas” in An Lac, Tam Giang, Chi Lang, Tam Tien, Son Dong, Truong Son, Tan Son, Trung Chinh, and Tri Qua communes.
