(BNP) - The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Ninh province has issued Plan No. 112/KH-SVHTTDL on the implementation of activities to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Vietnamese Family Day (June 28) in Bac Ninh province.
These activities have profound educational significance, promoting the values of Vietnamese families and creating a strong ripple effect in the community.
The organization of these activities aims to widely disseminate information to officials, civil servants, employees, armed forces personnel, workers, and all strata of the population about the history and significance of Vietnamese Family Day. This contributes to raising awareness and responsibility among all levels, sectors, organizations, and society as a whole in building prosperous, progressive, happy, and civilized families; while simultaneously honoring good traditional values and affirming the position and role of the family in the cause of national construction and defense in the new era.
According to the plan, the activities organized by Bac Ninh province in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism include: The 25th Anniversary Celebration of Vietnamese Family Day, scheduled for June 26, 2026, at the Provincial Conference Center (3/2 Square); an exhibition of the large-format poster design competition on the theme "Vietnamese Family Values," held from June 20 to July 15, 2026, at 3/2 Square; and a photo exhibition "Vietnamese Families Through the Ages," also held on June 26, 2026, at the Provincial Conference Center.
Activities organized by Bac Ninh province include: the Bac Ninh Provincial Family Day 2026; a traditional culture exhibition and experience space with various contents such as: book introductions for students, and interaction at the "Reading Corner with Children" with the theme "Summer Melodies - Reading with Children." The event will include demonstrations and experiences of Dong Ho folk painting; a Kinh Bac culinary space showcasing traditional products and typical OCOP products from families and craft villages in the province; and art performances and folk games. These activities are scheduled to take place from June 25th to 26th, 2026 at 3/2 Square.
The organization of these activities must ensure solemnity, practicality, safety, economy, and effectiveness; adhering closely to the guidelines of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism as well as the actual conditions of the locality. The content of the activities should have profound educational significance, promote the values of Vietnamese families, and create a strong ripple effect in the community.
The agencies, units, and localities assigned the task should proactively develop detailed plans, prepare all necessary conditions regarding infrastructure, human resources, and technology; and strengthen coordination during implementation. The plan also emphasizes promoting the application of information technology and digital transformation in propaganda and promotion work; strengthening communication on digital platforms and social networks to enhance the event's reach and effectiveness.
