(BNP) - On the morning of July 22, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan worked with the Vietnam Aviation Academy on the implementation of the construction of a facility in Bac Ninh.

At the meeting, the leaders of Vietnam Aviation Academy hoped that Bac Ninh province would consider and arrange for the Academy to develop a facility with a training scale of 5,000 - 10,000 students on about 10 - 20 hectares of educational planning land in the province.

Concluding the meeting, Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan welcomed the Vietnam Aviation Academy to study and build facilities in Bac Ninh province. At the same time, he said that Bac Ninh province is focusing all resources on the investment project to build Gia Binh International Airport and the connecting road with a scale of more than 1,960 hectares, meeting 5-star standards and aiming to become one of the 10 most modern airports in the world, which is expected to promote the socio-economic development of the province and neighboring areas.
The Chairman emphasized that the investment in building the Vietnam Aviation Academy's facilities in Bac Ninh is very appropriate, helping to create a complete ecosystem serving the operations of Gia Binh International Airport and the surrounding area. Furthermore, the investor had the foresight to incorporate an airport maintenance and repair area in the concept, which is quite advantageous and functions well for student training and practice.
