(BNP) - On the afternoon of July 21, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Gau visited and presented gifts to meritorious people in Ninh Xa and Tram Lo wards on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, July 27 (1947-2025).

Secretary Nguyen Van Gau visited, encouraged and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Cuoc in Hoang Xa quarter, Ninh Xa ward and wounded soldier Nguyen Dinh Tuan in Nghia Thuan quarter, Tram Lo ward.
Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Cuoc (95 years old) has 2 children who are martyrs (Mr. Do Van Hat, who died in 1974 and Mr. Do Duc Vui, a war invalid with a disability rate of 81%, died in 2016, posthumously awarded the title of martyr in 2017). Mother Cuoc is living with her daughter-in-law, the wife of martyr Do Duc Vui. Wounded soldier Nguyen Dinh Tuan, born in 1938, with a disability rate of 81%.

The Secretary kindly asked about their health and expressed his gratitude and deep appreciation for the great sacrifices and contributions of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, wounded soldiers, martyrs, and those who contributed to the cause of national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland. At the same time, he wished them continue to live happily and healthily, be a solid support for their children and grandchildren, be a shining example, and encourage the younger generation to promote revolutionary traditions and actively participate in building their homeland and country.
He requested that local Party committees, authorities and people continue to do a good job of "Repaying gratitude", regularly caring for families of policy beneficiaries and people with meritorious services.
On this occasion, the Secretary presented each meritorious people a gift and VND 2 million in cash.
