Under the plan, the province will intensify communication and dissemination of IP laws and regulations, while organizing training courses and workshops for enterprises, cooperatives, traditional craft villages, OCOP entities, and producers of local specialty products. At the same time, authorities will strengthen inspections and enforcement measures, taking strict action against IP infringements, counterfeit goods, and imitation products, particularly in the digital environment and on e-commerce platforms.
Bac Ninh will also promote the application of information technology, digital transformation, artificial intelligence (AI), and blockchain technology in IP management, product traceability, and intellectual property protection. The province will support enterprises, organizations, and individuals in registering, commercializing, and safeguarding intellectual assets associated with brand development, geographical indications, certification marks, and collective trademarks for key products, local specialties, and OCOP products.
The Department of Science and Technology has been assigned as the focal agency responsible for monitoring, inspecting, coordinating, and advising on the implementation of measures to improve the effectiveness of intellectual property rights enforcement across the province.
