(BNP) - On the morning of June 3rd, the Bac Ninh Provincial Youth Union, in coordination with the Provincial Military Command and the Department of Education and Training, organized the reception of 121 students participating in the 1st "Military Semester" program in 2026 at Regiment 833 (Hap Linh Ward).

Taking place from June 3rd to 10th, the program is for young people aged 10-16 with the theme "How Steel Was Tempered," aiming to educate on revolutionary traditions, cultivate discipline, improve physical fitness, and develop life skills in a military environment.
The program content includes 40% dedicated to national defense education, drill training, physical training, and survival skills; and 40% dedicated to life skills such as teamwork, communication, self-reliance, fire prevention and control, and rescue. The remaining 20% consists of experiential activities, cultural exchanges, sports, and group activities.
Through practical activities, the program helps students enhance their self-discipline, sense of responsibility, adaptability, and teamwork skills, while also fostering patriotism, national pride, and civic awareness.
After 11 years of organization, the "Summer Semester in the Military" program has become a valuable summer activity, contributing to the development of character, skills, and the building of a generation of dynamic, responsible, and patriotic young people.
