(BNP) - To promote the pioneering and volunteer role of youth in environmental protection, climate change response, and sustainable new rural construction, the Bac Ninh Provincial Youth Union recently implemented the “Green Journey” project in Dai Son, Tan Son, and Bo Ha communes. This is the first of 14 youth projects launched by the Provincial Youth Union during the 2026 Youth Month kickoff ceremony.

The completed project contributes to environmental protection, climate change response, and sustainable new rural development.

According to the plan, the “Green Journey” project aimed to donate 100,000 acacia and eucalyptus trees to reforest 50 hectares of bare land and hills within the province. To realize this goal, from March 27 to April 16, 2026, the Bac Ninh Provincial Youth Union collaborated with Crystal Martin (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. to present 100,000 trees and supplies to youth union members in Dai Son, Tan Son, and Bo Ha communes, with a total value of nearly 1 billion VND.

The project aims to promote the pulse and volunteer spirit of young people in participating in environmental protection, responding to climate change, and building sustainable new rural areas. At the same time, it demonstrates the Provincial Youth Union's commitment to supporting members in developing the forestry economy, contributing to increased income, improving the ecological environment, and mitigating climate change impacts.

Immediately following the launching ceremony, youth union members from the communes actively participated in planting, caring for, and protecting trees along roads and in public areas, contributing to a green - clean - beautiful landscape.

In the coming time, Youth Union levels throughout the province will continue to maintain and replicate practical youth models and projects, contributing to building a Bac Ninh homeland that is increasingly green, clean, beautiful, and sustainably developed./.
