(BNP) - On the afternoon of April 14th, at the Vietnam-Korea Bac Giang College of Technology, Samsung Vietnam in collaboration with the National Innovation Center (NIC) and Letuin High Tech Vietnam Co., Ltd., held the launching ceremony for the Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC) technology talent training program in 2026.

Bca Ninh provincial leaders attending the program were: Mr. Nguyen Hong Thai, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Mai Son, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and representatives of leaders from departments, agencies, and units of the province.
Launched globally in 2019, the Samsung Innovation Campus is one of the leading technology education and training programs. In Vietnam, the program is gradually proving its effectiveness in developing human resources, contributing to promoting innovation and socio-economic development.
This year, Samsung Vietnam, the National Innovation Center (NIC), Letuin High Tech Company, and over 20 universities/colleges nationwide are working closely together to implement the Samsung Innovation Campus 2026 program, which aims to train about 2,200 students.

Speaking at the program, Nguyen Cong Thong, Principal of the Vietnam-Korea Bac Giang College of Technology, noted that after nearly 15 years of development, the institution has established itself as a high-quality vocational training center in the region, supplying skilled technical human resources to both domestic and international labor markets.
He added that the inauguration of the SIC Lab—featuring modern facilities for AI, Big Data, STEM, XR/VR, and semiconductor simulation—is expected to create an advanced learning environment, enabling students to access cutting-edge technologies and enhance their practical competencies.
The Vietnam-Korea Bac Giang College of Technology is committed to effectively operating the Center, integrating Samsung’s training programs, and promoting STEM education to develop high-quality human resources. The school also hoped to receive continued support from provincial authorities and Samsung to enhance training and technology transfer, aiming to become a regional hub for high-tech workforce development.

Speaking at the program, Standing Vice Chairman Mai Son highly appreciated the implementation of the Samsung Innovation Campus program and its modern lab system, considering it a "creative incubator" that helps students access advanced technology, shorten the gap between training and practice, and be ready to enter the labor market immediately after graduation.
Bac Ninh is committed to supporting technology enterprises and connecting schools with businesses. With the participation of Samsung, the SIC Lab is expected to become a collaborative model and a foundation for developing high-quality engineers, contributing to positioning the province as a high-tech hub.

Samsung opened the Samsung Innovation Campus High-Tech Talent Development Center at the Vietnam-Korea College of Technology in Bac Giang, Bac Ninh province, just after the program's start ceremony. With one SIC classroom, one STEM lab, two XR/VR practice rooms, one semiconductor assembly simulation practice room, two meeting rooms, and a rest area, the center's 725 square meters provide students with a venue for in-depth study, instruction, and technological experience.
