(BNP) - On the afternoon of September 24, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan received and worked with a delegation of Goertek Group (China) led by Mr. Jiang Bin, Chairman of the Group.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Jiang Bin said Goertek Group, founded in 2001, is one of the world's leading technology corporations. It specializes in the manufacturing electronic products, components, and smart wearable devices. Headquartered in China, Goertek operates on a global scale, with more than 30 factories across various countries.
Goertek Group has invested in Bac Ninh since 2013 with the establishment of Goertek Vina Co., Ltd. in Que Vo Industrial Park. By 2025, the Group has established 04 companies in Bac Ninh, creating jobs for more than 60,000 local workers. In particular, the Group's companies consistently prioritize the recruitment of high-quality human resources from the local workforce.

Mr. Jiang Bin believed that the cooperation and companionship of Bac Ninh province and Goertek Group would continue to create greater success for the Group in Vietnam in general and Bac Ninh province in particular in the future. He emphasized that the partnership between Bac Ninh and Goertek Group serves as a typical example of the successful collaboration between Vietnam and foreign enterprises.
At the meeting, Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan warmly welcomed Mr. Jiang Bin and the leadership of Goertek Group on their visit and working session with Bac Ninh province. He noted that after the merger, Bac Ninh has continued to have strong steps in socio-economic development, becoming a key economic region of the North. In the first 8 months of 2025, the province's foreign direct investment (FDI) attraction reached about USD 4.47 billion, ranking first in the country.
Chairman Tuan highly appreciated the contributions of Goertek Group, particularly its approach to recruiting and training high-quality human resources for its companies in the province.

The Chairman pledged to create the most favorable conditions and promptly resolve any difficulties or obstacles, enabling businesses to operate stably and grow sustainably in the long term.
Recognizing the Goertek Group's educational and training support programs in the province, the Chairman hoped that the Group would continue to inspire students in Bac Ninh province through scholarships or through forms of support for scientific and technical training. At the same time, he also encouraged the Group to prioritize the recruitment of local students to work at its companies, thereby fostering and motivating the learning spirit of the province’s young generation.
The Chairman also requested Goertek Group to study and expand investment and cooperation to create conditions for Vietnamese vendors to become partners, participate in the production chain, and supply products for the Group, contributing to building Goertek into a leading large enterprise in the world.
