(BNP) - In order to promote the Bac Ninh lychee brand in the digital environment, contributing to enhancing the value, prestige, and competitiveness of the product in domestic and international markets, the Department of Industry and Trade has recently issued Rules No. 172/TL-SCT for the media content creation contest with the theme “Bac Ninh Lychee – Spreading the sweetness” 2026.

The contest aims to encourage digital content creation activities, strengthen the application of information technology and digital transformation in trade promotion and agricultural product consumption; simultaneously create a source of high-quality media products to effectively serve the promotion, supply-demand connection, and expansion of the lychee consumption market. At the same time, mobilize the participation of organizations, individuals, businesses, and the content creation community inside and outside the province in promoting the locality's key agricultural products.
Participants are individuals, groups of individuals, and organizations inside and outside Bac Ninh province, with no limits on age, profession, or field of activity. The Organizing Committee encourages the participation of digital content creators, students, businesses, cooperatives, farmers' association members, cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers in the province.
Entries are video clips with a duration of 7 to 10 minutes, in MP4, MOV or equivalent format, with a minimum resolution of Full HD (1920x1080), suitable for digital platforms at a 16:9 or 9:16 ratio. Videos can use Vietnamese or foreign languages but must have Vietnamese subtitles.
The content of the works focuses on introducing the origin, characteristics, quality, economic and cultural values of Bac Ninh lychee; reflecting the process of production, harvesting, and preservation; introducing typical models in growing and caring for lychee; portraying the image of farmers, cooperatives, and businesses in production and consumption; practical experiences, cuisine, and tourism associated with lychee growing areas; and reflecting trade promotion activities, the application of e-commerce, and digital transformation in promotion and sales.
The Organizing Committee requires that the contest entries ensure clear content, specific messages, and strictly follow the theme and purpose of the contest. Images and sounds must ensure quality; not be shaky, blurry, or noisy; dialogue, narration, and background music must be clear and easy to hear. Do not use content, images, or sounds that infringe on copyright or violate legal regulations. The application of modern filming, editing, graphics, and effects techniques is encouraged to enhance the quality and attractiveness of the work. Videos must be posted publicly on at least one digital platform such as TikTok, YouTube, or Facebook during the submission period and include the hashtags: #VaiThieuLucNgan, #bacninh, #cuocthitruyenthongvaithieu. Contest entries must not contain illegal advertising content or incorporate information inappropriate to the purpose and nature of the contest.
Submission dossiers include: The original video, the link to the posted video, information about the author or group of authors, and a short description of the video content from 200 to 300 words. Authors send dossiers via email: baiduthitruyenthongvaithieu@gmail.com or through an online storage link. Each individual/author group may submit a maximum of 03 (three) entries.
The submission period is from May 11, 2026, to the end of May 25, 2026. Judging begins on May 26, 2026. The results and awards ceremony are expected to be held at the Bac Ninh Province Lychee Consumption Promotion Conference 2026.
The total prize value of the contest is 39 million VND, including: 1 First Prize worth 10 million VND; 2 Second Prizes, 5 million VND each; 3 Third Prizes, 3 million VND each; and 5 Consolation Prizes, 2 million VND each, accompanied by a Certificate from the Organizing Committee.
The contest helps strongly spread the lychee brand on digital platforms, contributing to promoting agricultural product consumption, increasing income for the people, and promoting the local image in the era of digital transformation./.
