The Resolution not only reflected the strategic vision of the Party and State but also served as a compass for sustainable development in the digital age. While entering an era where data and artificial intelligence (AI) became "new resources," capturing and effectively implementing the guidelines of the Resolution would be a key factor for Vietnam to rise strongly in the global value chain. Besides, the outstanding development of artificial intelligence was opening new horizons with immense potential applications.

Attending the final round of this year's contest, contestants competed in individual categories across tables: Table A - Programming skills for Elementary students; Table B - Programming skills for Middle School students; Table C2 - Programming skills for non-specialized High School students; Table M1 - Logical mathematics and algorithmic thinking for Elementary students; Table M2 - Logical mathematics and algorithmic thinking for Middle School students.

A new feature of the 29th Bac Ninh Youth Informatics Contest in 2026 was that it was the first year implementing the 2-level local government model, with a larger number of contestants than in previous years. Contestants were selected through the preliminary round, ensuring that each commune or ward could only select 01 contestant to participate in one competition table. The Organizing Committee did not organize a table for young cadres, civil servants, and public employees, but replaced it with two competition tables, M1 and M2 - Logical mathematics and algorithmic thinking for Elementary and Middle School students. Delegates and parents could directly monitor the entire examination process of the contestants through the central LED screen.
