Removing obstacles and speed up progress of Gia Binh International Airport project

(BNP) – On the morning of November 11, at Gia Binh commune, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan chaired a working session to review the progress and remove difficulties and obstacles in the site clearance work of the Gia Binh International Airport construction investment project and related projects.

According to the report, the Gia Binh International Airport Project has so far paid compensation and site clearance of nearly VND 2,000 billion to about 4,000 households in 03 communes: Gia Binh, Nhan Thang, Luong Tai with more than 436 hectares. For the resettlement and cemetery project, up to now, the basic statistics have been done, the owners have been determined according to the land records with the total area of ​​resettlement area, cemetery relocation, graveyard, religious works... is 263.8 hectares in 02 communes: Trung Chinh and Luong Tai.

The implementation of land acquisition and clearance projects is currently facing many difficulties and obstacles in determining support for life stabilization and career conversion due to the need to determine the remaining percentage of agricultural land; draft regulations are still in the process of soliciting opinions and being finalized for promulgation; there is a lack of forces participating in the inventory of residential land and assets and constructions on land...

Concluding the conference, Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan emphasized that the implementation of the Gia Binh International Airport Project and related projects is the most important political task of Bac Ninh province in the current period. Therefore, he requested localities, units, especially leaders to focus, uphold the sense of responsibility, determination, and resolutely implement the issued plan; closely follow the proposed work contents; check daily progress and have plans to compensate for the delayed work. Provincial leaders, departments, branches and sectors of the province are ready to accompany units and localities to implement the project most effectively, creating a breakthrough change for the province.

The Chairman requested departments, branches, units and localities to focus on site clearance work, and must complete it by November 30, 2025 at the latest, especially site clearance for agricultural land of 3 projects including: Project within the scope of Gia Binh Airport; Radial road project and resettlement and relocation projects of technical infrastructure and new concentrated cemetery in the form of cemetery parks.

The Chairman assigned the Party Secretary of Gia Binh commune to chair a meeting with specialized departments, relevant departments and branches by the morning of November 12 at the latest to discuss and agree on an implementation plan in the spirit of best benefiting the people and ensuring compliance with legal regulations.

The Chairman also requested Gia Binh commune to complete the compensation dossier for site clearance and transfer it to the investor no later than November 30, 2025; and Luong Tai commune no later than December 15, 2025.

The Chairman also requested to immediately implement compensation for site clearance for resettlement land areas based on the approved and adjusted planning; no later than December 15, 2025, this resettlement land area must be completed.

The Chairman also requested the investor to closely coordinate with the provincial focal agencies to unify the implementation of work contents; continue to accompany and support a number of policies that are not included in the State's regulations but within the capacity of the enterprise. The Provincial Land Fund Development Center reviewed all human resources, focusing on the highest level of the Project's tasks in the spirit of solving daily and continuous work.
