(BNP) - On the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - 2026), Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Xuan Loi visited and presented gifts to several families of people with meritorious services to revolution in Tay Yen Tu and Duong Huu communes on July 17.

In Tay Yen Tu commune, Vice Chairman Le Xuan Loi and the delegation visited wounded soldier Hoang Ngoc Cam, born in 1955, residing in Thong Nhat village, with 61% disability, and Mr. Ngo Quoc Han, born in 1945, residing in Ron village, a resistance fighter who suffered from chemical poisoning with 61% disability.

In Duong Huu commune, Vice Chairman Le Xuan Loi and the delegation presented gifts to Mr. Nguyen Van Bon, born in 1949, residing in Ha village, a wounded soldier with 55% disability, and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Cuong, born in 1954, residing in Thoi village, the wife of martyr Hoang Thanh Cam.
On behalf of the provincial leadership, the Vice Chairman inquired about the health and living conditions of the families of war invalids and martyrs. At the same time, he expressed profound gratitude for the sacrifices, losses, and immense contributions of the Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and relatives of martyrs to the cause of national liberation, reunification, and defense of the Fatherland.

He emphasized that the tradition of "Drinking water, remembering the source" and "Showing gratitude" has always been preserved and promoted by the Party Committee, government, and people of Bac Ninh province, and affirmed that the contributions of previous generations are an important foundation for Bac Ninh province's achievements in socio-economic development and building a more prosperous, civilized, and modern homeland.
The Vice Chairman hoped that these meritorious individuals will continue to maintain their health, uphold revolutionary traditions, encourage their children and grandchildren to actively study, work, and produce, and contribute to building a more prosperous, beautiful, and civilized homeland.

The Vice Chairman suggested that local Party committees and authorities continue to pay more attention to and better care for the material and spiritual lives of families of war veterans and policy beneficiaries, dedicating the best things to them, demonstrating that caring for the lives of war veterans and policy beneficiary families is an important task, especially after the implementation of the two-tiered local government model that is always close to the people, serving the people.
