Vice Chairman Pham Van Thinh receives delegation of Brazil - Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry

(BNP) - On the afternoon of September 9, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies Pham Van Thinh received and worked with the Brazil-Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LATAM).

Vice Chairman Pham Van Thinh had a courtesy call with Mr. Victor Key.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman Pham Van Thinh briefed on an overview of the province's socio-economic development in recent times.

He emphasized that the Vietnam - Brazil relationship has been upgraded to a new level by the two countries' senior leaders, a strategic partnership, opening up many cooperation opportunities between the two sides in many fields, including opportunities for Vietnamese localities to cooperate with Brazilian partners.

Representatives from departments and agencies attend the meeting.

Thinh hoped the Brazil - Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry would be interested in introducing Brazilian investors to survey investment in Bac Ninh, focusing on the following areas: High technology, semiconductor technology, electronic products and components, preservation technology, post-harvest processing of agricultural products, animal feed, thereby promoting the green economy, digital economy and actively contributing to the goal of sustainable development of the province's socio-economy.

Mr. Victor Key, President of the Brazil-Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, thanked the provincial officials for their warm welcome and conveyed his satisfaction with Bac Ninh's recent growth.

In the coming time, the Brazil-Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry would continue to strengthen its partnership through trade promotion activities, connecting businesses for localities, and ensuring that both sides profit from the common opportunities of globalization and economic integration.  Mr. Victor Key believed that following the working session, the potential and opportunities would be translated into collaborative projects for the two parties to develop together.

Currently, the Brazil - Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been implementing a number of activities to promote trade and connect Vietnamese - Brazilian businesses. In particular, it is completing procedures to apply for a certificate of registration to operate in Vietnam, and setting up an office in Bac Giang ward, Bac Ninh province./.
