(BNP) - Within the framework of Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2026, on the morning of April 18, at 3/2 Square (Bac Giang ward), Bac Ninh Library No. 1 organized a thematic talk titled "Sparkling with book pages." The event attracted over 400 armed forces personnel and students from secondary schools across Bac Giang ward.

The guest speakers were Senior Lieutenant Colonel and writer Pham Van Anh, Vice Chairwoman of the Military Writers’ Association, and writer Mai Phuong, Vice Chairwoman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Literature and Arts Association.
The exchange was attended by representatives from the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism; the Bac Ninh Provincial Youth Union; the Provincial Military Command; the Bac Ninh Center for Continuing Education - Foreign Languages and Informatics; as well as leaders and officers from the Internal Political Security Division (PA03) of the Provincial Police.

During the exchange themed “Sparkling with book pages,” the speakers shared vivid stories about their creative journeys, the role of books in spiritual life, and practical experiences gained through reading and writing.
The speakers emphasized that forming and maintaining reading habits, especially among the younger generation, played a vital role in nurturing knowledge, perfecting personality, and fostering the ambition to excel. Accordingly, “Sparkling with book pages” represented not only the intellectual value books provide but also the growth and refinement of each reader through the process of access, experience, and reflection.
In an open and friendly atmosphere, the speakers engaged directly with students and youth union members regarding effective reading methods, choosing appropriate books, and skills for acquiring knowledge in the context of today's information explosion. Many questions related to practical learning and training were answered, helping to spark excitement and a passion for reading among attendees.
Additionally, delegates shared personal experiences on building a reading culture, emphasizing the importance of selecting healthy books, developing scientific reading skills, and applying book-based knowledge to real life. Activities such as Q&A sessions and book giveaways served as highlights, turning the program into a useful forum for exchange between speakers and the audience.

On the afternoon of the same day, Bac Ninh Library No. 2 continued with a thematic talk titled “Applying AI in learning and developing reading culture.” This session was presented by Speaker Kim Nga—CEO of Van Loc Media and an expert in AI training and application in education, who had inspired over 10,000 students and managed more than 200 book launch programs annually./.
